Upcoming Accounts Payable Specialist Opportunity for a Specialized Manufacturing Company!
An industry leading manufacturing company will be looking for an AP Specialist to join their established team. As the AP Specialist, you will serve as an integral part of their team with direct interaction with the company's Controller and Staff Accountant. This position is a full time role that offers great benefits and opportunities for growth. AP Specialist should have prior experience working in a fast paced environment as our client is experiencing rapid and growth; candidates should be confident in their organizational skills and have high ambition.
Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
• Review invoices for proper approval, general ledger coding, agent info, vendor name, vendor address, etc..
• Prepare vendor and check requests for the office and coordinate with supervisor for review
• Mail vendor check requests to putting into workflow accounts payable system.
• Coordinate with vendors to address any issues/discrepancies
• Coordinate vendor set up to ensure that all proper documentation (i.e. W9 forms) are obtained
• Periodically maintain and update list of active vendors
• Ensure that all emails/questions regarding vendors, coding, check inquiries, etc. are appropriately answered in a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:
• 2 or 4 year College degree (or degree in process) preferred; but not necessary
• At a minimum, 4+ years of high volume AP experience
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; specifically strong MS Excel skills
• Computer analytical skills
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Manufacturing industry experience is preferred, but not required
